Volunteer at the award-winning Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport

Would you like to be a part of the team that delivers exceptional service to air travellers in the heart of downtown Toronto? We are looking for friendly, courteous, customer service-oriented volunteers to become Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Ambassadors. If you’re a people person and can see yourself making a great first impressions to passengers by greeting, assisting, and providing information to get them where they want to go, then this may be the position for you!

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Ambassadors:

• greet passengers and visitors with a warm welcome, help them locate airport services, and provide local information;

• direct passengers on where they need to go and provide directions throughout their airport journey;

• provide accurate and timely information about airport facilities and services;

• work at the information booth;

• work closely with airport staff and fellow ambassadors to coordinate assistance and make the airport a warm, inviting space;

• provide incident reports, as well as feedback on daily operations to the Terminal Operations Specialist; and

• ensure passenger-facing areas of the terminal are clean and free of hazards, reporting any issues to the Facilities Maintenance helpdesk and the Terminal Operations Specialist

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience

• Friendly, professional, and approachable with a passion for customer service

• Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in French or other languages is a bonus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment

• Flexibility to commit to volunteer shifts, including weekends and holidays
