Nieuport Aviation appoints Katie Battiston as Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, ONTARIO – Nieuport Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Battiston as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Battiston joined Nieuport in 2019 and brings with her over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, having previously held local and international roles at the Hospital for Sick Children and a major accounting firm. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Studies and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Ms. Battiston succeeds Doug Smith in the role of Chief Financial Officer, with Mr. Smith now transitioning to the role of Senior Advisor, Finance and Risk.
