COVID-19 Update
*Updated January 20, 2022
As the owner and operator of the YTZ Passenger Terminal, Nieuport is proud to be a part of the Safe Travels Program at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Safe Travels is an operational initiative and awareness campaign designed to help passengers, staff and partners travel through Billy Bishop safely and with confidence. As part of the program, we have received ACI Airport Health Accreditation by implementing significant health and safety measures, including new signage, increased sanitation, seat capacity reductions, plexi-glass barriers, and more in our terminal. Nieuport Aviation has also been awarded the SafeTravels stamp by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario, which recognizes businesses upholding the highest standards of health and safety by demonstrating they are adhering to the global health protocols issued by the WTTC. As always, we continue to monitor and assess the ever-changing impacts of COVID-19 and are working with airport partners to ensure ongoing measures are implemented and maintained as required by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Transport Canada (TC).
Operational Update: The Domestic and Transborder passenger lounges resumed regularly scheduled commercial operations in September of 2021.
Please note that the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport shuttle bus service provided by Nieuport has also resumed with upgraded health and safety measures as of September 8, 2021.
